Feel like you're in the heart of Napa Valley at Wine Country Trattoria, where a passion for wine and fresh seasonal ingredients creates the ideal setting for a leisurely afternoon or romantic dinner. The dappled plaster walls, tile flooring and timber accents are reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. Dine indoors or al fresco on a broad umbrella-dotted terrace that features a hand-carved limestone fountain and beds of fragrant flowers and herbs. Or simply relax with a glass of wine on the Medocino Terrace.

Savor Californian and Mediterranean influences with house specialties that include fresh seafood, braised meats, pasta just the way you like it and an irresistible finale, Tiramisù. Lunch selections include entree salads and grilled Panini.

With more than 25 different wines by the glass, select the perfect pairing to complement your meal. From Carneros to Venice, many of the world's top wine growing regions are represented on the extensive wine list. Not sure what to order? Wine flights are a great way to sample the restaurant's cellar.

Touring Tips

  • The newly redesigned trattoria is a popular spot for a Mediterranean-style meal and a glass of wine. The trattoria has become the dining focal point of the resorts with the closing of the Vineyard room. Braised lamb shank and sustainable fish with citrus pesto is delicious. The arugula salad with smoked chicken, fennel, red onion, spiced walnuts, and goat cheese is a meal on a plate. And to finish: authentic tiramisu with sweetened italian mascarpone is an exotic treat for adults among the more kid-friendly sweets that dominate in the rest of the resort. Wine Country trattoria appeals more to adults without children.
  • Whether you choose one of three themed patios outside or the "patio" inside, this spacious bistro captures the California-casual mood, complete with an open kitchen. The park recently redesigned both interior and exterior patios with plenty of tile, wood, and trellised greenery, whisking you away from downtown Anaheim and positing you in the middle of California wine country.
  • This is yet another easy place for adults to park for a while and get away from the frantic pace of the amusement park. Or a chocolate fondue for two (or more) with pound cake, biscotti, assorted chopped fruit, and banana fritters?
  • Take "dinner and a show" to a whole new level! Secure a great vantage point for World of Color with a full-service prix fixe dinner at Wine Country Trattoria that includes tickets to a Reserved Viewing section at Paradise Park.
  • Due to its location along the parade route, it may also afford a chance for entertainment during a meal. World of Color meal packages are also available at this location.
  • Dining reservations are available for Wine Country Trattoria and can be made in person for this location on a limited basis. Reservations can also be arranged in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.
  • This location was run by Robert Mondavi wineries when it opened, and was largely a gift shop. After Mondavi withdrew, the shop was removed and the area was converted to a casual table service restaurant serving Italian food. The restaurant underwent renovations in 2010 and reopened with a revamped menu.
