- Refreshment Corner, or Coke Corner as it is more commonly known, can be a calm spot to relax towards the end of the day and provides decent seating for the current fireworks show. The menu is simple, with hot dogs, chili bowls, and drinks.
- Another draw is the ragtime piano players who perform in the afternoon and evenings for whoever happens to be around, often drawing a large crowd.
- Plenty of outdoor seating immediately outside the restaurant, with additional seating on the patio of the Plaza Pavilion. A handful of indoor tables (some against a long padded bench) are highly coveted during hot summer days.
