Touring Tips

  • This spaceport is fully equipped with earthling food, including space-age favorites like Mars-inara with Meteoric Meatballs, Countdown Chicken Fusilli and Mega slices of pepperoni, cheese or vegetarian pizza.
  • Redd Rockett's is set up cafeteria-style, typically with two or three kinds of pasta available, as well as pizzas and salads. all hot items sit under heat lamps until someone grabs them, but servers will be happy to mix up a fresh bowl of pasta or a pizza on request (a much better choice). try the asian chicken salad if it's available–slightly spicy with good flavor. Free drink refills are available.
  • The cafeteria-style set-up usually means less waiting. The A/C system is on steroids, making it a really cool place on a really hot day.
  • R2P2, as it is known in some circles, sells more than just the pizza in its name. Decent salads and pasta dishes are also available. It is not the only location in the park for pizza, but the restaurant's whole pies-to-go are popular with those wishing to camp out for hours to get a perfect fireworks view.
  • Redd Rockett's Pizza Port is located in the former location of the Mission to Mars attraction, which offered daily flights to the red planet from 1975 to 1992. The vintage posters on the back wall are a must-see for any Disney history buff. Redd Rockett's Pizza Port remains unchanged since it opened in 1998.
