Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Walt Disney World

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area on Bay Lake. The resort is also located near Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is home to The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, a Disney Vacation Club timeshare resort. Disney's Wilderness Lodge—inspired by the Great American Northwest National Park lodges from the turn of the 20th century—is an architecturally grand Disney Deluxe Resort hotel honoring American craftsmanship and artistry, and celebrating the majesty of the unspoiled wilderness.

The theme of being in harmony with nature winds through the lodge—inside and out. Authentic decor and genuine artifacts pay homage to ancient Native American cultures and the pioneering spirit of early American explorers. From its stunning 7-story lobby, built from 85 loads of Lodgepole Pine, to its 82-foot-tall lobby fireplace, the Resort is as beautiful as it is impressive. Its 727 Guest rooms offer themes of wildlife, nature and Native American designs, and include Honeymoon Suites featuring marble whirlpool tubs.

Relax by one of our 2 pools or on a white-sand beach. Treat yourself to a whole lot of fun and all-you-can-eat at Whispering Canyon Café, a family-style barbeque restaurant. Enjoy specialties from the Pacific Northwest and an award-winning wine list at the rustically elegant Artist Point. And for Guests who want to keep up their fitness routine, the latest in exercise equipment is available at the Sturdy Branches Health Club.

Lounge in one of the wooden rocking chairs on the back area of the lobby at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and lose yourself in the serene scene of mighty pines and delicate flowers. Water from a bubbling springs flows from inside the lobby. Follow it as it winds outside to the Silver Creek Springs.

The Silver Creek Springs pool has a water slide and a hot tub. The Resort's second pool, Hidden Springs, also features a hot tub. Each pool has a lounge and bar. Open seasonally, the Trout Pass pool bar and Roaring Forks Snacks serve quick snacks or small meals, as well as specialty drinks and coffees. Swimming in Silver Creek Springs, the feature pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, is like swimming in a small forest. Silver Creek Springs pool is open from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, with Disney-trained lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Inside Disney's Wilderness Lodge lobby, a springs bubbles over stones. Follow the water as it flows under a lobby's window wall, widens and becomes a creek in the Resort's upper courtyard. This quiet Silver Creek transforms again into a sparkling 15-foot waterfall, which empties into the boulder and tree-lined pool called Silver Creek Springs.

Sturdy Branches Health Club is located off the lobby area for The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The latest in fitness equipment is available in the cardiovascular room with treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles (regular and recumbent) and stair climbers. The weight room includes weight machines and free weights. End a workout in the sauna.
