Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is an equestrian-themed, Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Villa Resort on the shores of Village Lake. The Resort includes the Treehouse Villas, which allow up to 9 Guests to sleep high up amongst the lush forest leaves. The resort is the seventh Disney Vacation Club resort and is situated on the former site of the Disney Institute. It is now the largest Disney Vacation Club resort. The resort was inspired by the city of Saratoga Springs, New York. Available rooms range from single room studios to three bedroom extended family suites on two floors (Grand Villas). Like other Disney Vacation Club resorts, the studios offer kitchenettes, bathrooms, one queen bed, and one sleeper sofa.

Inspired by historic Saratoga Springs, a late-1800s New York retreat famous for its spas and horse racing, the buildings and grounds of this 65-acre Resort are truly inviting. Stroll among green rolling hills and discover gurgling fountains and placid lakes. The vacation Villas within each of the Resort's 6 sections—The Springs, The Paddock, Congress Park, The Carousel, The Grandstand and the Treehouse Villas—offer many comforts of home, such as full kitchens and washer and dryers, with charming Victorian touches. The 3-bedroom grand Villas are large enough to sleep up to 12 people—ideal for large groups, like family reunions.

Nature lovers and Guests seeking a bit more privacy should check out the Treehouse Villas. These stand-alone structures—elevated 10 feet off the ground on pedestals and beams—are nestled unobtrusively into natural glens alongside the Sassagoula River. Relax in one of 60 3-bedroom vacation homes offering modern luxuries such as cathedral ceilings, granite countertops and flat-panel TVs.

Enjoy a swim in the 161,000-gallon High Rock Spring Pool, featuring beautiful rockwork with cascading water and a unique water slide. Work out in the health club, relax in the sauna, steam room or whirlpool, or indulge in the revitalizing treatments and massage therapies of the award-winning spa. Tee off at nearby Buena Vista Golf Course and afterwards dine on delicious American fare at the Turf Club Bar and Grill, offering panoramic views of waterways and golf greens.

Recreation

The Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa offers recreational activities. Recreational activities includes the main pool, three additional pools, a spa and fitness center, bike and surrey rentals, an arcade, a "Community Hall" (arts, crafts, and entertainment center), and the Lake Buena Vista Golf Club.

  • The Spa at Saratoga Springs offers professional spa treatments and packages. The center features relaxing mineral pools and private treatment rooms for spa guests. Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is a golf course. The golf club entrance is located on the lower level of the Carriage House lobby building and is only accessible behind the Carriage House lobby building below the Turf Club Bar & Grill. The course has been a host to PGA and LPGA events.
  • High rock springs pool is the original feature pool of the resort located outside the main/clubhouse building. It is designed as a natural spring with rocks, geysers, trees, and other themed touche. It features a zero-depth entry into the pool, a waterslide that starts at the top of the spring with turns and drops into pool below, two hot tubs outside the pool, a pop jets area for young children (with Donald Duck in a spring), and an adult bar called "On The Rocks Pool Bar" with pool chairs.
  • Paddock Springs pool this second feature pool was added in 2011 it was built due to the increased guest capacity of Walt Disney world and so the guests who are located in the back of this large themed resort who used to travel to the original feature pool all the way in front of resort. This second feature pool is the same size of the original feature pool and is themed to Paddock village and spring area with a zero-depth entry into the pool,a waterslide that starts at the top of the spring with turns and drops that leads into the pool below, 2 hot tubs, a restroom/changing room facility, a quick service restaurant serving American, Healthy, childs and Italian foods in a building themed to a Paddock building similar to the main lobby area. A seating area for a quick service restaurant, a pool bar adjacent to the restaurant, pool chairs and play area for young children with a spring creek theme are included.
  • Charcoal barbecue grills and picnic table pavilions are located near the quiet, leisure pools in The Grandstand, The Paddock and Congress Park sections of the Resort and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Barbecue utensils are available for check out with ID at Horsing Around Recreation Rentals.
  • Community Hall, adjacent to Horsing Around Recreation Rentals, offers ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, arts and crafts and a variety of board games. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Community Hall also provides scheduled programs. Check the activity schedule to find out what's happening at this entertainment center.
Dining
  • The Artist's Palette - The Artist's Palette is inspired by an artist's loft, with oversized paintings, exposed brick walls and avant-garde light fixtures. Pick up groceries from the restaurant's market, or order custom-made sandwiches, salads, fresh-from-the-oven flatbreads and family-size entrees from the deli counter.
  • The Turf Club Bar & Grill - The Turf Club Bar & Grill, a casual restaurant in Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, serves a variety of American fare for lunch and dinner. Pasta dishes, salads, burgers and sandwiches fill the menu that begins with a savory selection of seafood appetizers, including a spiced salmon salad. The Turf Club Bar & Grill provides a relaxing club atmosphere where you can play pool, watch a sporting event, or simply enjoy a refreshing cocktail in the lounge. Horseracing memorabilia, sure to fascinate the fans, decorates the restaurant's walls. From the windows in The Turf Club Bar & Grill, the lights of Downtown Disney area fill the panoramic view at night, and during the day, look out over the waterways and greens of Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.
  • On The Rocks Pool Bar - The main poolside bar located at the High Rock Springs Pool. The bar offers alcoholic drinks and beverages, soft drinks, light snacks, and a refillable mug station.
  • The Turf Club Lounge - Creative American favorites are served in the comfort of the "club" with sprawling views of Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and Downtown Disney West Side.

Touring Tips

  • Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is served by Disney Transport bus and watercraft transportation. For bus service, there are five bus stops located throughout the resort. The bus stops are The Springs (Guest Villa 3101 - 4436 & The Carriage House), Congress Park (Guest Villas 1101 - 2836), The Paddock (Guest Villas 4501 - 6836), The Carousel (Guest Villas 7101 - 7836), and The Grandstand (Guest Villas 8101 - 9836). Buses at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa have direct routes to all theme parks and Downtown Disney. Watercraft service is available to Downtown Disney, with connecting service to Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort at Downtown Disney. Transportation to a Walt Disney World Resort Golf Course is also available by taxi, which will be arranged by the Bell Services Desk, located at the Carriage House. Upon return to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Pro Shop at the golf course will arrange a return taxi. This service is free of charge.
  • The Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa contains the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center, the official open house and sales center for the Disney Vacation Club. The center includes a preview lobby and several full-scale model villas of the latest Disney Vacation Club resorts.
  • In addition to 4 pools, there are also 2 playgrounds, a high-tech game room, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and bike rentals. Community Hall offers ping pong, foosball, arts and crafts and a variety of board games. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Community Hall also provides scheduled programs.
  • One-bedroom villas, 2-bedroom villas and Grand Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa include full kitchens that feature a full-size refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, sink, cabinets and coffeemaker. Studios include smaller kitchenettes that feature a mini-fridge, wet bar, microwave and coffeemaker.
  • The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is located near The Carriage House lobby area and the High Rock Spring pool. Open from 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. daily, the spa facility is available to Resort Guests 14 and older. Guests younger than 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Together with independent childcare provider Kids Nite Out, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa offers the convenience of one-to-one in-room babysitting for children 6 months to 12 years old. You can even reserve a childcare specialist to accompany you and your family during your visit to the Parks, providing a helping hand where needed.
