Shoot for the stars at this enormous arcade with celestial lights running along the ceiling. Otherworldly murals make a cosmic backdrop to the impressive collection of video games that teem the boisterous space.

Challenge yourself by competing in the some of the world's best video games awaiting you at Starcade. At this hotspot for video game hotshots, enjoy over 200 video games, both current and classic. With so many games to choose from, it's out-of-this-world fun for everyone!

Starcade is nothing more or less than a large electronic-game arcade. The piece de resistance is the Sega jet-combat simulator game - players actually roll upside down in the course of play. Though the game is expensive - $4 for about 2 minutes of play - many teens and young adults regard it as the highlight of their Disneyland day.

Parents will always wonder why they'd bring their kids all the way to Disneyland only to have them spend time paying to play video games. Nonetheless, this video arcade exists, with a selection of current and past favorites available for play. Though some of the games are violent, there are no games that use guns to shoot humans.

Touring Tips

  • Enjoy your time in the area with a pocket full of quarters. These games are not included in the daily admission price, so there is a change machine inside that will give change for $1.00, $5.00, and $10.00 bills in addition to an on-site cashier.
  • Starcade is located on the right side of Tomorrowland between the Star Traders store and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience.
  • Inside you will find more than 200 of the most popular coin-operated video games of yesterday, today and tomorrow (depending on what is hot at the time). Games spanning the spectrum from the classics to the latest state-of-the-art technologies.
  • You may have to wait for an individual arcade game to become available but generally the arcade is uncrowded.
  • Keep an eye on your children if they split up to play games. There are multiple entrances and exits to this arcade so they may accidentally slip out without notice.
  • Starcade is a great place for guests who have chosen not to ride on Space Mountain to wait for the rest of their party.
