Francis' Ladybug Boogie

Take a spin to a famous swing tune as you ride on the "back" of a Francis ladybug! The ladybugs run 'round each other on a fabulous figure 8 track. Even though Francis is no lady, he can teach you to boogie like a bug! Climb onto the "back" of one of the ladybugs. As the music starts to jitterbug, you whirl under the colorful canopy past a giant, old-fashioned 45 rpm record. Your ladybug doesn't just spin to the music but it grooves on a figure 8 track! You don't have to do anything to make your ladybug spin. Just lean to one side or the other to get the biggest boogie out of your bug.

Francis' Ladybug Boogie is part of Flik's Fun Fair. A spinning ride reminiscent of Disneyland's Mad Tea Party, passenger have some control over the level of spin. Each ladybug sits on a rotating plate and is transferred from one plate to another allowing it to move over the entire space of the ride. As with everything in this area, the attraction is intended for younger children, though anybody can ride.

Touring Tips

• Wait times more than 15 minutes are rare.
• The ride does spin through a figure-8 loop, but is gentle enough that it should be fine for just about anybody.
• Like the Tea Cups, passengers may turn a wheel to spin the vehicles but it is not necessary. There are no safety restraints on this attraction: Little ones must stay seated on their tushies.
• This ride does not have safety restraints, so it's up to you to keep your kids seated.
• You will have to transfer from your wheelchair or ECV into the ride vehicle, by yourself or with help from your traveling companions. Enter with everyone else.
