Flik's Flyers

Hop into a discarded food carton for a brief flight in Flik's latest invention! Fly in this contraption made of stitched leaves and twigs. When you take a whirl, get a great view of "a bug's land"!

That inventive ant Flik has done it again! This time he's gathered up discarded food containers - such as raisin boxes, Chinese food take-out cartons and even animal-cookie boxes - to make "flyers." He then stitched together some leaves to make balloons and tied them to twigs to create a whirling flying machine. As you lift off and begin to spin, Flik's Flyers take you up up up above the clover leaves and grassy stalks for a fabulous view of "a bug's land". See the surrounding attractions, such as Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies and the Francis Ladybug Boogie.

uests ride in Flik's bug-made contraption fashioned from man-made objects. The vehicles appear to have been fashioned from used food containers and have been stitched together by leaves and twigs to become "balloons" that whirl around a pie plate centerpiece.

Also, the wait time sign resembles a button. Whirring, cranking gears are heard as they leave the ground. The attraction provides guests with a view of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Touring Tips

• The wait for this attraction tends to be under 10 minutes. Wait times more than 15 minutes are rare.
• The ride does spin around a circle, but is gentle enough that it should be fine for most conditions.
• Like Dumbo and Astro-Orbitor, passengers control the altitude of the ride vehicle but they can keep it close to the ground for most of the ride if they'd like to.
• The closest restroom is next to Flik's Fliers - in a "tissue box"!
• Flik and Atta make appearances in front of the attraction It's Tough to be a Bug in a bug's land.
• The queue is wheelchair/ECV accessible, but guests using ECVS must transfer to the vehicle. Guests in wheelchairs may remain in their chair and board a specially designed vehicle.
